Like the former once great Canadian retail department store chain Eaton's, and most recently the Hudson's Bay Company, Canada is being taken-over by U.S. interests in the guise of so-called "Free Trade". Unfortunately, the Canadian mass-media that is owned by Big Business interests which support "Free Trade", have ignored the preciptated U.S. take-over by Canada, that anti-Free Trade activists had warned about, in the 1988 Canadian Federal Election.

Anti-Free Trade activists had been led by former Liberal Prime Minister John N. Turner, who was a protégé of former Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau.

The once great Canadian Eaton's Department store, as a part of national heritage, was allowed to be taken-over by U.S. based Sears, in the post-Free Trade era.

Former Prime Minister John Turner and other activists, campaigned passionately against Free Trade in the late 1980's. So-called "Free Trade" must be cancelled now, in order to save Canada from take-over by U.S. interests.
